Isn’t great that we have such a wonderful community college in our area? This year Lake Sumter Community College has been celebrating its 50 year anniversary. After 50 years of dedication towards educating our community, the college continues to grow and educate anyone who wants to learn. In honor of their 50 year anniversary, they will be opening up the time capsule on September 20th from 5:30-7 in Student Services and will be putting a new one into the ground. The college is currently accepting LSCC memorabilia for the new time capsule that will be opened in 2037. What a great way to commemorate the past 50 years and plan for the bright future ahead! Congratulations Lake Sumter Community College!
