The local Christmas parade is one of the many exciting events that happen during the holiday season. Last weekend, Leesburg kicked off the holiday season with its “Seussical Christmas” parade, and this weekend is Ocala’s turn! This year’s theme for Ocala is “Light up Christmas Spirit”. On December 8th at 5:30 pm, over 60,000 spectators will line up along the parade’s two mile path to watch this wonderful display of holiday spirit. The parade will run along State Road 40 (Silver Springs BLVD), which will be closed off at 4:00 pm. For more details check out the Ocala Christmas parade website.
