Old Glory

June 14th has been marked as Flag Day since 1916 when Woodrow Wilson issued an official proclamation establishing June 14 as Flag Day; in 1949 National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress.  (Source and more fun facts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_Day_(United_States))

Celebrate National Flag Day tomorrow with great pride in the Land Of The Free.  Freedom, history, pride, glory, dream, discovery, success, beauty.  These are just a few words that come to mind when I think of our great country.  Instead of going through your normal routine tomorrow morning, spend time reflecting on what it means to live in freedom.  That’s exactly what Old Glory represents!

Fly your flag with pride and give thanks to the many that died and served for freedom.
